Abhijith B R, known across the security community by his handle Abx, is the Founder and Director of BreachSimRange and the founder of Adversary Village. With around 16 years of experience in offensive cyber security, he is a professional hacker, offensive cyber security specialist, red team consultant, security researcher, trainer and public speaker.
His work sits firmly on the offensive side of security: adversary simulation, breach and attack simulation, red teaming, ransomware emulation, and threat-informed defense. Through BreachSimRange he delivers offensive cyber security consulting and hands-on training that show organizations exactly how real-world attackers operate, and whether their detection and response actually holds up when an adversary is inside the network.
Abhijith has presented research and trained practitioners at many of the world's leading hacking and cyber security conferences, including DEF CON, RSA Conference, The Diana Initiative, Opensource India, BSides Las Vegas, BSides San Francisco, Hack Space Con, Nullcon, c0c0n and BSides Delhi, among many others. He regularly delivers offensive cyber security operations training, including his flagship DEF CON Training course on mastering breach and adversarial attack simulation engagements.

Part of the DEF CON Villages, it runs hacking villages and hands-on activities at major events including the DEF CON hacking conference and RSA Conference, bringing the global adversary-emulation community together around a shared, adversary-first mindset.
