On the panel

At DEF CON 32, our founder Abhijith B R moderated this Adversary Village panel on responding to breaches, ransomware, and state-sponsored threat actors. The line-up brought together threat intelligence, the MITRE ATT&CK perspective, hands-on red team research, and a defender's view from government and enterprise, to talk through why even well-resourced organizations keep getting hit, and what actually works when they do.

Session abstract

This panel addresses ransomware and state-sponsored threat actors, focusing on recent cyber-attacks, breaches, and targeted ransomware incidents. It discusses why organizations, even those with advanced cyber defense tools, are still affected by breaches and threat actors, and shares insights into effective response and containment strategies, exploring how to efficiently respond to threats, contain, and remediate them.
