DEF CON Training: Mastering Breach and Adversarial Attack Simulation Engagements to Validate Cyber Defenses

This hands-on DEF CON Training in Bahrain, led by Abhijith B R, gives participants the practical skills to design and execute advanced breach and adversary simulation exercises and validate enterprise cyber defenses using real-world offensive security TTPs.

Over two days, attendees work through the full attack lifecycle inside a guided breach simulation lab range with enterprise defenses in place (AV, EDR, SIEM, web proxies), covering adversary attack simulation, red team tradecraft, threat-actor and ransomware emulation, defense evasion, and purple teaming, with techniques mapped to MITRE ATT&CK and telemetry correlated across the kill chain. Participants who pass the practical proficiency exam earn the CBAS certification.
